Publicis Selling Solutions Group Announces New Hires and Promotions

LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. – January 22, 2007 – Publicis Selling Solutions Group, a Publicis Healthcare Communications Group company, today announced several new hires and promotions. These announcements are subsequent to the reorganization of the group, which included Rick Keefer taking on the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer (previously announced). "Publicis Selling Solutions Group is growing and our clients&Mac226; needs are evolving," states Rick Keefer. "These changes will help us better serve our customers."

T. Greg Michael has been hired as Senior Vice President, Business Development, Publicis Selling Solutions. Previously with PDI where he acted as Vice President and General Manager of the AstraZeneca account, Mr. Michael brings a broad range of pharmaceutical and sales leadership experience.

Duane Smulling has been hired as Senior Director, Business Development, Publicis Selling Solutions. Previously with PDI where he acted as Vice President and General Manager of the AstraZeneca account, Mr. Smulling has a strong background in the biopharmaceutical industry, information services, business development and account management.

Joann Flynn has been hired as Business Development Analyst, Publicis Selling Solutions. Prior to joining the company, Ms. Flynn was Founder and President of Designs for Wellness, LLC and previously worked at Towers Perrin as a Communications Specialist.

Fred Ewald has been hired as Director, Incentive Compensation, Publicis Selling Solutions. In his previous position, Mr. Ewald was a member of the Business Analytics Group at McNeil Consumer and Specialty Pharmaceuticals with responsibility for incentive compensation design and payout administration.

Marianne Nugent has joined the company as Director, Publicis Managed Markets Account Teams Operations. Marianne has been working in as a consultant for Publicis since December of 2005 and her previous experience includes serving as a Member of the Operations/Leadership Team at Innovex and at Bristol-Myers Squibb as a Vice President.

Lisa Montrone has been hired as Senior Director, Project Management and Analytics, Publicis Selling Solutions. Prior to joining Publicis, Ms. Montrone served as a consultant on large systems integration projects and later in information technology, sales operations and project management roles in the pharmaceutical industry.

In addition, several internal promotions were announced including: Jim Zamichieli, has been promoted to Vice President, IT, Publicis Selling Solutions Group. Elizabeth Siegel was promoted to the newly created position of Associate Recruiter, Publicis Selling Solutions. Sharon Sarge had been promoted to the position of Senior HR Specialist, Publicis Selling Solutions.
